Historic Trappe invites you to join us on Sunday, September 10, from 3 to 5 pm for a garden party to honor our beloved executive director, Lisa Minardi. This September marks the twentieth anniversary of Lisa's joining the effort to save the Speaker's House from demolition. It is also her fortieth birthday! Help us celebrate Lisa, her dedication to Historic Trappe, and vision for its future. We will gather at the Speaker's House for a casual reception with hors d'oeuvres and drinks. Tour the house to see the latest restoration work and meander through the kitchen garden's late summer bounty.
Tickets for the garden party are $20/person. Please also consider making a donation of $20, $40, or more in honor of Lisa to the Speaker's House restoration fund. All donations will be matched up to $150,000 thanks to a challenge grant from Ross and Beth Myers.
This event is rain or shine. Please park across the street from the Speaker's House at the Trappe Shopping Center.
