2026 Special Tour Packages
Celebrate 250 years of history with a special group tour of Historic Trappe, exploring how Lutheran families such as the Muhlenbergs were integrally involved in the Revolutionary War. Learn how the war directly impacted Lutherans in southeastern Pennsylvania and enjoy rarely-seen artifacts from historic congregations including Augustus Lutheran, New Hanover, St. Michael's Germantown, and St. Michael's and Zion in Philadelphia. Hosted by Historic Trappe in partnership with the Lutheran Archives Center, this special anniversary program highlights the faith, community, and cultural traditions that shaped life during the Revolutionary era.
This special group tour package includes guided tours of all three museums in Historic Trappe: Dewees Tavern, Muhlenberg House, and Speaker’s House. Tours of Augustus Lutheran Church may also be available upon request.
This group tour package may be scheduled anytime between 10 am and 4 pm on Tuesdays through Fridays. Historic Trappe requires a minimum three-week notice for group tours.
