Restoration Fund
Help us complete the restoration of the Speaker's House by 2026 for the celebration of the U.S. Semiquincentennial or America 250. This momentous occasion will bring tens of thousands of new visitors to the Greater Philadelphia--Valley Forge area, and we want to make sure that the Speaker's House is fully restored and ready to open for tours!
Restoration work planned in 2024 and 2025 includes:
- • Complete the exterior restoration, including repointing masonry and replacing windows
• Complete the kitchen wing restoration, including plastering and paint - • Begin and complete the interior restoration of the 1763 section
Donations to the Restoration Fund in any amount are welcome year-round.
Although our highest priority right now is to complete the Speaker's House restoration by 2026, we also welcome donations to help preserve and restore our other historic sites. Please contact us at [email protected] if you wish to direct your donation to a specific building or project.
