Haley Wrye

Haley graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2024 with dual bachelor degrees in Hospitality Management and Early American History. Her undergrad thesis, "The Dutch in the New World: Exploring the Economic Trade and Sociocultural Characteristics of Rensselaerwyck," was recognized by the Florida Conference of Historians and published by the Pegasus Review: UCF’s Undergraduate Research Journal. In 2024, she completed the Historic Deerfield Summer Fellowship Program in History and Material Culture, where she researched the life and legacy of Revolutionary War General Elisha Porter. In addition to working for Historic Trappe, Haley is the Assistant Archivist at the Lutheran Archives Center at Philadelphia. She is also researching and writing biographies for the British and Irish Furniture Maker’s Migration and Craftsmanship Project.
