Museum Locations
The Center for Pennsylvania German Studies at Dewees Tavern offers self-guided tours of our changing exhibitions. Guided tours of the Muhlenberg House and the Speaker's House begin at the top of the hour during our regular museum hours. Parking is available at all three sites.

2026 Seasonal Schedule
Historic Trappe is open year-round. Groups of more than 10 people, or visitors interested in touring outside regular hours, should contact tours@historictrappe.org to arrange a visit.
Summer Hours: June 12–September 6. Admission can be purchased at all three sites during regular museum hours, Friday through Sunday.
Fall Hours: September 11–November 15. Visitors on Fridays must first go to Dewees Tavern to purchase admission, including for house tours. Admission may be purchased at all three sites on Saturdays and Sundays.
Christmas Hours: November 20–January 3. Admission for our Pennsylvania German Christmas tours may be purchased at all three sites during regular museum hours, Friday through Sunday.

Admission
General admission covering all three historic buildings may be purchased at any site. Visitors may also purchase admission for a single building at their preferred site. Please refer to the above seasonal schedule to determine where to start your visit.
Adult: $10 per site; $20 for general admission
Senior (65 and up): $8 per site; $18 for general admission
Student: $8 per site; $10 for general admission
Youth (11-17): $5 (includes all museums)
Child (10 and under): FREE
Members: FREE
Center for Pennsylvania German Studies

The Center for Pennsylvania German Studies, located at the Dewees Tavern, is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm and Sundays from 12 to 4 pm. For a tour outside these times, contact tours@historictrappe.org to make an appointment. Enjoy five exhibition galleries filled with a wide variety of Pennsylvania German furniture, fraktur, textiles, pottery, and much more!
Our research library focuses on local history and genealogy, Pennsylvania German art and culture, and American decorative arts. The library is open by appointment only; contact us at info@historictrappe.org to schedule a visit. We also offer research services for those unable to visit in person.

Muhlenberg House

The Muhlenberg House is open for guided tours on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm and Sundays from 12 to 4 pm. Muhlenberg House tours are at the top of the hour. You can purchase tickets at the Visitor Center behind the Muhlenberg House on Saturdays and Sundays. Please visit the Dewees Tavern to visit on Fridays.

Speaker's House

The Speaker’s House and adjacent kitchen garden are open now for guided tours on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm and Sundays from 12 to 4 pm.
Muhlenberg Parsonage
The parsonage is undergoing architectural study in preparation for its restoration and is not yet open for tours.
